Project Outline

The National Media Museum worked with 20 children in the combined reception and year 1 classes at Canterbury Children’s Centre & Horton Park Primary School.

The children worked on a variety of animation experiments focusing on paint and mark-making with a time-lapse animation technique. They also created their own plasticine models based on the theme of creatures. The children animated their models with the assistance of the animation artist and all the creative experiments were combined to produce a short film showing the process and the products produced.
