What is Anim8ed?

Welcome to Anim8ed, an on-line animation resource offering ideas, contacts and suggestions for teachers, educators and those interested in developing animation projects with groups. The site includes six step-by-step animation projects, together with the final animations, information about animation techniques and animators, and links to animation studios, festivals and courses.

Anim8ed is a result of a collaboration between the National Museum of Photography, Film and Television and Cartwright Hall Art Gallery in Bradford and the York Castle Museum.

The project was funded by the DCMS / DfES Strategic Commissioning Partnership project, 2003 – 4.
