Louise Spraggon is a stop-motion animator who has worked with the makers of Wallace and Gromit, Aardman Animations; HOT Animation, who produce Bob the Builder and Pingu; and with Tim Burton on his stop-motion film The Corpse Bride. She also worked as the animator on the Anim8ed project from 2004-2008.

Louise’s tutorials will help you understand how you can create excellent animation in simple ways. Do not worry if you do not have all the kit - many schools have successfully followed the tutorials for drawn and cut-out animation without using light-boxes or peg bars. Try layering images on top of each other using regular paper or photographing your sand-images on coloured paper instead.
