Case Studies
Between April 2004 and January 2011, 62 Yorkshire schools/groups took part in the Anim8ed project, producing a total of 53 animations. 2531 young people were directly involved in the production of the animated films, 96 teachers and 39 museum education staff were trained in animation techniques.
Working with professional animators, the groups learnt the different stages of the animation process, from the initial idea and storyboarding, through to creating their final animation. Below is a selection of case studies detailing a variety of projects and approaches.
